Arizona State Capitol Presentation with Marco Gonzalez
January 16, 2020 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 amFree
Join us for a unique opportunity at the Arizona State Capitol to hear International Human Rights Advocate Marco Gonzalez.
Marco Gonzalez is Executive Director of Yahad – In Unum, an organization dedicated to discovering genocide wherever it is found around the world, providing documented proof of crimes against humanity and serving as a voice of protest on behalf of all past and present victims of systemic hate crimes and mass murder. Working closely with its well-recognized founder, Father Patrick Desbois, Marco has become the foremost authority on the tragic episode of history known as “Holocaust by Bullets”. Although Yahad-In Unum is based in Paris, Marco is Guatemalan-born. Marco was always aware of the abysmal human rights record in that region. His work is now allowing him to raise awareness of the Holocaust to the Guatemalan people. In 2016, Yahad-In Unum founded The Museum of the Holocaust in Guatemala, the first museum of its kind in Central America.
Hosted by Honorable Robert Meza, State Representative
Following the program, guests are invited to tour the exhibit In Broad Daylight: Holocaust by Bullets where refreshments will be served.
This is the first time this exhibit produced by Yahad-In Unum is in the United States.
