Music with a Voice: A Concert of Reclamation

In this community concert, MusicaNova celebrates three composers, Schreker, Hindemith and Mendelssohn, whoses works were banned by the Nazis as part of the suppression of what they considered “degenerate, Jewish art.” Music with a Voice honors the improbable survivor of these impactful voices and reclaims their significance for today.
